Beautiful Sunday in Lenzie
It was a Beautiful Sunday in Lenzie as the Old Parish Church celebrated its 150th anniversary with a special service, led by Rev Julie Hearty. There was also an exhibition in the hall afterwards, charting the life story of the church through the ages.
Provost Renwick was delighted to pop along and join the celebrations.
She said,
Churches play such an important role in our communities and Lenzie Old Parish Church has been a beacon for generations over the last 150 years.
"It was a privilege to join them as they gave thanks and celebrated what has been and looked forward to what is yet to come.”
