I am pleased to confirm that the next phase of our Microsoft Teams deployment is progressing.
We are deploying Microsoft Teams in our Council-wide longer term move to Microsoft 365. Teams will continue to provide employees with ways to work together, to better collaborate and it will allow remote interaction across our workforce.
All employees with access to a Council laptop or desktop computer will be able to hold and participate in audio and video meetings. The priority at this time is to enable employees to meet virtually and we will share further updates on the wider Microsoft 365 project as these develop.
Microsoft Teams was successfully deployed to those currently using Cisco Webex on Tuesday 23rd June 2020. In Phase 2 we will deliver Microsoft Teams to all Corporate and nominated Education users in a phased approach by Directorate as follows:

In addition, Learning & Development colleagues will also run a series of Microsoft Teams-based virtual sessions where you will have the opportunity to see the app in action and ask any questions not covered in the learning resources.
