    It was a night to remember in Bishopbriggs Town Centre as the Christmas lights were switched on and the festive season officially got underway. Provost Renwick joined the three Bishopbriggs Community Council Youth Ambassadors at the switch-on to help the gathered crowds get into the Christmas spirit.

    Investiture ceremony

    Three people from across Dunbartonshire were honoured at an Investiture Ceremony in Bearsden by the Lord-Lieutenant of Dunbartonshire, Mrs Jill Young MBE today.
    The special ceremony was hosted in Kilmardinny House, Bearsden by East Dunbartonshire Provost Gillian Renwick.

    People of all backgrounds, all faiths and none came together in Kirkintilloch this weekend at a Peace Forum organised by the Ahmadiyya Muslim Elders Association (AMEA) Glasgow North.

    Provost Renwick was invited to speak at the event, giving her thoughts on peace and what it means to her in today's world.
