Transport Options Report Consultation

This consultation is now closed as of 11 February 2019.

Have your say on the Transport Options Report

The East Dunbartonshire Local Transport Strategy is being refreshed and the first stage of this process is the Transport Options Report.

The Transport Options Report sets out preferred and alternative options for active travel, public transport, roads and parking. The report sets out options for the whole area and options specific to individual community areas. The Transport Options Report is available to download under the “Documents” section of this webpage.

The Transport Options Report was developed on an extensive evidence base. This evidence included: Route Corridor Studies, national, regional and local policy, transport data and public consultations held previously. Background reports detailing this evidence base are also available to download under the “Documents” section of this webpage

Now is your chance to get involved. We want to hear your thoughts on the Transport Options Report.

Consultation is being carried out from 30 November until 11 February 2019.

Consultation Results:

The consultation on the Transport Options Report was held from December 2018 till February 2019. We received over 200 questionnaire and email responses. The consultation was carried out in order to understand community and stakeholder views on the options and potential changes. The Land Planning Policy team will now work through all the responses received and produce a Report of Consultation. The responses will be fed in to the development of a Draft LTS. The Draft LTS will published for a final consultation later in 2019.
