Details:
1. The purpose of this Technical Note is to provide an update on the proposal for a Traffic Regulation Order that would introduce time limited waiting restrictions on various sections of Manse Road.
- An initial timeline had been planned for the promotion of the proposed Order which had included arrangements to hold a Traffic Management Appeals Board (TMAB) on 19th April 2023, should any objections to the proposal be received and maintained. However, there was a delay in the promotion of the Order due to further clarifications and amendment of information, meaning that that the timeline has been adjusted to accommodate the statutory procedures.
- The proposed Order was promoted, with a deadline of 20th March 2023 for objections/representations. Officers have been engaging with objectors, however a number of objections have been maintained and as a result a TMAB requires to be convened.
- Due to the delay in the promotion of the proposed Order and the necessary statutory procedures, 19th April is no longer suitable for the TMAB. Therefore, it is proposed to reschedule the TMAB meeting from Wednesday,19 April to Tuesday, 16 May 2023 at 10:00 am. Invites will be issued shortly.
