Details: 
  1. Further to Technical Note 168 issued on 6 October, we advised Members our structural engineering consultants have confirmed the presence of RAAC within the rear section of Bearsden Hub and that the building will need to close until further notice.
     
  2. Members will be aware that Milngavie Town Hall is currently being used to deliver vaccinations and as a result the availability of the hall and other rooms for lets is restricted. In light of the closure of Bearsden Hub, officers have reviewed the current arrangements at Milngavie Town Hall to support an increase hall provision and have agreed a revised timetable which will enable lets to be delivered in the Main and Lesser hall during following days/times:-

Tuesdays

10am – 9pm (10am start allows sufficient time to fully disassemble vaccination clinic from the previous evening, clean hall and let set-up time)

Wednesdays

10am – 8pm (8pm finish time allows sufficient time to clear/clean after last let and set-up vaccination clinic)

Fridays

10am – 9pm or beyond if requested (10am start allows sufficient time to disassemble vaccination clinic, clean and let set-up time)

Saturdays

Available for ad-hoc bookings

The Court Room will be available for booking Monday – Friday, 10am – 9pm.
