This Technical Note will be published on the Council’s website following circulation to Members. Its contents may be disclosed or shared outwith the Council.
Details:
- The purpose of this technical note is to update members on pre-construction site surveys planned at Balmuildy Primary School during the forthcoming October half-term break.
- To help inform the development of final design proposals for the project, Ground Penetration Radar Surveys (to check for the presence of below ground services) and Site Investigations via the excavation, sampling and reinstatement of trial pits (to help plan, design and construct the new water mains to serve the school) are planned to take place between Monday 16th October and Friday 20th October.
- During the course of the surveys, access to the site will be restricted to the general public. Survey areas will be managed via heras fencing and site operatives during these works.
- On completion of the surveys, the site will be fully reinstated to its original condition and ready for the re-opening of the school at the end of the October break.
