- The purpose of this Technical Note is to advise Elected Members of progress on the review of Locality Plans and in working with our communities.
- The Community Planning Partnership Board instructed officers to proactively seek views and comments from key anchor community organisations and citizens who sought to have continued engagement.
- Sessions are now organised for each of the four Locality area to enable key anchor community organisations and citizens to provide feedback.
Following on from the consultation for the review of the locality plans then the purpose of the drop-ins are to feedback to the community our interpretation of what the community responses told us,
Importantly, we need to confirm that we have understood their information properly.
Auchinairn
The sessions on Wednesday 16th November will be held at Auchinairn Early Years and Community Centre from 10 am till 2pm, and then from 6pm till 8pm.
Hillhead and Harestanes
The session will be hosted on Thursday 17th November from 10am until 2pm, at Hillhead Community Centre.
Lennoxtown
The session will be hosted on Saturday 19th November from 1.30 pm until 4.00pm, at Campsie Memorial Hall.
Twechar
The session will be hosted on Thursday 17th November from 10am until 2pm, in the Healthy Living Centre.
- These sessions will be promoted through the local communities, on the Council social media platforms, and by posting on partner platforms.
- Information gathered at these events will be collated and a report presented to Community Planning Executive Group.
