Details:
- The purpose of this Technical Note is to inform Members of the sad news that former Provost and long standing Councillor John Dempsey passed away on Friday 27 May.
- The flags at our Council HQ have been lowered to half-mast as a mark of respect and I have been in touch with his family to express condolences on behalf of the Council at this difficult time.
- We will share details of the funeral arrangements with Members once these have been confirmed by the family.
