Details: 
  1. The purpose of this Technical Note is to update Elected Members regarding an agreed event to take place on the 19 and 20 of March in and around the community of Kirkintilloch.  The event has been planned by Creative Art Theatre and was organised to allow people to share their experiences whilst they were in lockdown whilst encouraging them to visit various public spaces and buildings within East Dunbartonshire.
     
  2. The event has the appropriate risk assessments and organisers have shared details with regards to COVID regulations and public liability. Social distancing and numbers restricted in line with regulations as per risk assessment in line with current guidance.
     
  3. Funded fully by Creative Arts Theatre. 
     
  4. The event, is housed around four site and promotes walking to various locations within Kirkintilloch and completing a family treasure trail, creating rainbow posters and chalk drawings.
     
  5. The final stop in this treasure hunt is at Peel Park Band Stand and encourages members of the public to draw on the ground and in non-permanent chalk what the families did whilst in lock down. Operations, have agreed at a suitable time to return and remove the chalk drawings.
     
  6. Creative Art are expecting around 200 members of the public to attend throughout the full weekend.
