This Technical Note will be published on the Council’s website following circulation to Members. Its contents may be disclosed or shared outwith the Council.
Details:
- The purpose of this Technical Note is to provide Members with an update in relation to the temporary removal of the option to pay online for Special Uplift services.
- This temporary removal will be for a short period beginning 20 October whilst a technical upgrade to the underlying software is completed.
- Currently, residents of East Dunbartonshire can pay for Special Uplifts for household waste via an online form and online payment facility, or over the telephone by contacting Customer Services.
- To ensure the continued integrity of the online payment solution, there is a requirement to upgrade the underlying software resulting in the option to pay via the website being removed for a period.
- During this time, residents can continue to make payments via Customer Services.
- Other online payments are not impacted by this upgrade work.
