Details: 
  1. In partnership with Macmillan Cancer Support, The official launch of the East Dunbartonshire Improving the Cancer Journey (ICJ) service will take place in Hillhead Community Centre, Kirkintilloch, on 10 August 2022 at 10am.
     
  2. The ICJ service provides dedicated support to residents of East Dunbartonshire who are affected by cancer from diagnosis, survivorship and end of life. ICJ will also support family members and carers. The ICJ service is delivered in partnership between East Dunbartonshire Health and Social Care Partnership, Macmillan Cancer Support and NHS Greater Glasgow & Clyde.
     
  3. All Elected Members are invited to attend the launch, with an official
    email communication to follow soon.
     
  4. As well as speeches from officers involved and a service user, there will
    be an opportunity to find out more about the service, which helps people affected by cancer, to get the support they need - whether that's physical, emotional, practical, spiritual or financial.
