Details: 
  1. The purpose of this Technical Note is to update Members on the status of the electric vehicle charge points across the authority area following recent issues being reported to the network operator.
     
  2. In recent years, the Council has installed electric vehicle charge points across East Dunbartonshire through funding made available by Transport Scotland. The public network in Scotland is operated by ChargePlace Scotland. A map of the network, including live information on the operation and use of individual charge points can be found on the ChargePlace Scotland website.
     
  3. Through various means, the Council has recently been made aware of several faults at charge points across East Dunbartonshire. The Council has continued to raise these issues with ChargePlace Scotland, requesting action is taken to rectify issues as soon as possible.
     
  4. The following table shows all of the charge points on the public network in East Dunbartonshire. The table identifies the location of the charge point, the current operational status and any comments of recent/current issues which have been or are being addressed by the network operator. The operational status and associated comments are the latest information held at the time of writing this technical note.
       
  5. Officers will continue to communicate with ChargePlace Scotland to ensure existing issues and potential problems in the future are rectified as soon as possible.
