Details:
- Following Council instruction in June 2021 (Report PNCA/032/21/DG), Officers submitted applications to the UK Levelling Up Fund and UK Community Renewal Fund on 18th June 2021.
- On 27th October 2021, the UK Government published a list of First round successful bids for the Levelling Up Fund.
- The Council was not on this list. Officers have requested feedback.
- There were 8 successful bids in Scotland. North Lanarkshire who also submitted a bid within the same Cumbernauld, Kilsyth and Kirkintilloch East County Constituency were not successful either. The full list can be found on the Government website [opens in a new window].
- There have been no further updates on the outcome of the UK Community Renewal Fund to date.
