Details:
1. The purpose of this technical note is to inform Members of the appointment of Reporters to carry out the examination of the Proposed Local Development Plan 2 (LDP2), in accordance with Section 19 of the Town and Country Planning Scotland Act 1997 (as amended). The Proposed LDP 2 and related material was approved by the Council’s PNCA Committee on 27 May 2021 (PNCA/036/21/AL) and submitted to the Scottish Government on 15 June 2021.
2. Full details can be found in the attached letter of notification from the Scottish Government’s Planning and Environmental Appeals Division (DPEA).
3. The Council and DPEA’s website has been updated and a LDP Newsletter will be distributed in due course. Notification and a press advert is also required.
