Springfield Cambridge Church in Bishopbriggs was filled with the beautiful voices of East Dunbartonshire Children’s Chorus and Youth Choir tonight as the young people belted out a varied repertoire of tunes at their Spring Concert.
Provost Gillian Renwick attended the musical extravaganza and is pictured with the young people, their Leader Janet Lax (far left) and Convener of the Council’s Education Committee, Lynda Williamson.
The audience was treated to folk songs from the Congo and Nicaragua as well as a fab song about a wild haggis! Provost Renwick said, “I had a lovely evening listening to our young singers. The concert was a great demonstration of their talents and it was obvious to see how much fun they have together learning about music, harmonies, and teamwork.” Well done everyone!
