Review of Minor Injuries Services in West Glasgow

The consultation is now closed as of 1 September 2017.

The NHS Board and Glasgow City Integration Joint Board are undertaking a joint review of minor injuries services for West Glasgow.

The review will cover access issues, demand and the options for minor injuries services, including:

  • Re-opening the service at Yorkhill
  • Transferring the service to Gartnavel, and
  • Emergency services, including minor injuries services, for West Glasgow provided at Queen Elizabeth University Hospital and Glasgow Royal, and minor injuries services at Stobhill.

Part of the review will involve making information available for the public to think about and to provide feedback. Patient and service user engagement sessions will also be arranged.
