Here is a selection of the latest projects we have been working on, along with some forthcoming works.  East Dunbartonshire Council is grateful to Sustrans, Transport Scotland, Paths for All, Cycling Scotland and SPT for the support and funding to enable us to complete these works.

2018/2019

  • Lenzie Station Improvement Project
  • Wester Way Active Travel Corridor
  • Twechar Path upgrades
  • Torrance to Cadder Core Path upgrade
  • Hilton Terrace Park, Bishopbriggs Path upgrades
  • Milngavie Station - Bike repair station, Milngavie precinct signage improvements and bike shelters

2017/2018

  • Safer Routes to School – Meadowburn Steps Upgrade - providing greater accessibility to Meadowburn Primary School
  • Healthy Habits Initiative expanded to Milton of Campsie and Lennoxtown – maps available here
  • Stockiemuir Core Path Upgrade - linking Stockiemuir Road with Drymen Road and Bailie Drive (behind Bearsden Ski Club)
  • Campsie Glen Path upgrade

2016/2017

  • Safer Routes to School - St Ninian's Path Upgrade, Kirkintilloch
  • Milngavie Travel Hub, Milngavie Train Station
  • Healthy Habits Initiatives - Milngavie, Bearsden, Kirkintilloch  and Lenzie – maps available here
  • Campsie Fells Access Improvements - Kirk Burn Core Path and Campsie Glen Right of Way
