The Council’s Roads Service adopts roads (technically known as carriageways), footways, verges, cycle ways, footpaths and public car parks in the area which meet an acceptable standard.

Roads Enquiry: Approved Certificate
If you need an approved certificate to show if your road is adopted the charge is £33.07.
You can apply online: Make A Payment select pay it online, Miscellaneous then GIS and Corporate Address Gazetteer category for Road Only.
Payment can also be made in advance by cheque. Contact Customer Services for details.
