The General Data Protection Regulations (GDPR)
On 25th May 2018, the way in which all organisations in the United Kingdom use personal data will change. From that day, the General Data Protection Regulations will apply across all the countries of the European Union. People in Kirkintilloch or Bearsden will have the same rights over personal information as people in Krakow or Berlin.
Commonly referred to as the GDPR, the new law aims to empower you as an individual, ensuring that you are able to question and challenge how organisations use information about you.
