PLANNING etc (SCOTLAND) ACT 2006 BUSINESS IMPROVEMENT DISTRICTS (SCOTLAND) REGULATIONS 2007 NOTICE OF BALLOT RENEWAL OF BUSINESS IMPROVEMENT DISTRICT FOR MILNGAVIE
This is to give notice that a renewal ballot is to be held on the proposal of Milngavie Town Centre BID Ltd to continue operating the Business Improvement District (BID) for Milngavie for a further five years.
The ballot will be conducted entirely by post on behalf of Gerry Cornes, Returning Officer, East Dunbartonshire Council, Marina Headquarters, 12 Strathkelvin Place Kirkintilloch G66 1TJ. Ballot papers will be sent to those eligible to vote by no later than Thursday 7 March 2019 for return by no later than 5pm on Thursday 18 April 2019 (the “day of the ballot”).
The Renewal Ballot closed on 18 April 2019 at 5pm.
The Result of the ballot was in favour of the proposal to establish a Business Improvement District in Milngavie. A majority of the Business ratepayers in the proposed BID area who voted, voted in favour of the proposal, both by aggregate rateable value and numbers voting. The Declaration of the result is attached in the Documents section of the page.
