Provost Renwick teamed up with Beryl, Lynn & Fraser from Betterbriggs and the manager of Bishopbriggs' ASDA today to litter-pick the area. Among their haul was a length of plumbing pipe, a drain cover (fully intact) and a tool for removing wheel nuts - as well as bags and bags of glass and plastic bottles!
She said, “Today was a great example of a community in action to make life for everyone that wee bit better. Teamwork was the key to achieving so much today and the results were amazing. Well done to everyone involved. It was great fun to be part of such a worthwhile event.”
