Proposals for Climate Ready Parks - Woodhill and Etive Parks

This consultation is now closed as of 29 May 2019.

Residents’ views are being sought on exciting new proposals to turn Etive and Woodhill parks in Bishopbriggs in East Dunbartonshire’s first Climate Ready Park.

East Dunbartonshire Council, in partnership with East Dunbartonshire Voluntary Action, is proposing to improve these open spaces which are located close to the centre of the town.

Proposals include providing above-ground surface water features to minimise localised flooding, new and improved paths, new children’s play facilities and increased opportunities for residents to grow their own food.

These Green Infrastructure improvements will also have significant benefits for wildlife and local habitats. You can have a say and find out more at the public consultation meeting.
