Primary 1 Survey for Early Years Parents

This survey is now closed as of 20 September 2018

With the expansion of Early Years, children often attend nursery for the full day. As a parent of a child currently attending an Early Years centre, we would like to gather your opinion of when children should begin their first full day in Primary 1.

In most Councils, Primary 1 pupils attend for the full day from the first day of school in August.  In East Dunbartonshire, P1 pupils start full days on the first Monday in September.

Should East Dunbartonshire continue with current practice where children only attend the morning session until the first Monday in September, or should pupils of Primary 1 be taking part in full time education from the start of session?

Please complete our online survey below which runs form Wednesday 12 September until Thursday 20 September 2018.
