Mosshead Play Area - swing set and other playing equipmentEast Dunbartonshire Council needs your help to decide on the winning design to transform a play area in Bearsden.

The Council is planning to revamp its current play area at Mosshead Park in the town and residents are being given the opportunity to vote for their favourite from a choice of three designs.

Design proposals were invited - and submitted - on a fixed budget basis. You can now view the lay out plans in detail and vote for your favourite by visiting the Mosshead Play Area web page.

Councillor Paul Ferretti, Convener of the Place, Neighbourhood & Corporate Assets Ctte, said, "To ensure we're offering the highest standard of quality and choice to the community, we are presenting a variety of design options to residents. We want as many people as possible to have their say on what they'd like to see in the play area by taking part in a quick vote.

"Mosshead Park is a popular, well-used park, but has been identified as requiring an upgrade.

“The voting is on a one-vote-per-household basis and the design that has collected the most votes at the expiry of the deadline date will be the one that's installed.

“Online voting will remain open from Friday 11 November until the end of Sunday 20 November. Votes cast after this date will not be counted."

Each of the choices has been designed to provide a variety of fun and challenging play equipment for children of various ages.
