A popular family-friendly festival is returning to Mugdock Country Park this month.
Hundreds of people flock to the MugStock festival every year to enjoy a range of live music, fun, food and performances.
The boutique event is managed and run by volunteers – supported by East Dunbartonshire Council, sponsors and more.
Mugstock 2018 takes place from 27-30 July with acts including Roddy Woomble, The Showhawk Duo, Colonel Mustard & the Dijon 5, Kid Canaveral, Tide Lines, The Girobabies and the Trongate Rum Riots.
Councillor Billy Hendry, Convener of the Council’s Place, Neighbourhood & Corporate Assets Committee, said, “Helping to host festivals such as MugStock is a real benefit to East Dunbartonshire – attracting visitors, boosting the local economy and showcasing one of the many assets in our local area.
"It's great to see such innovative ideas being brought to fruition. I am particularly pleased by the strong support provided by the Council and country park colleagues."
MugStock is run on a not-for-profit basis with year-round fundraising helping to subsidise ticket prices. Visit https://mugstock.org

"I am delighted that the organisers have found a home among the beautiful surrounds of Mugdock Country Park, which is the ideal setting for a range of uses – offering a unique mix of natural beauty and great facilities, as well as a wealth of activities, attractions and events all year round."
