Whether your youngsters are the sporty outdoor types, water babies, creative geniuses or just fun-loving balls of energy, you can bet there’s something for them to do in East Dunbartonshire this Easter.

A fun-packed fortnight has been planned by the ED Leisure & Culture Trust with lots to do right on your doorstep, from football to family craft workshops, gymnastics to gaming, pool inflatables to poster printing and of course there’ll be Easter egg hunts.

Trust Chair, Sandy Marshall, hopes local people take advantage of what’s on offer across the area. He said, “There are activities in our leisure centres, libraries, the Auld Kirk Museum and our wonderfully refurbished Kilmardinny Arts Centre. Children can sign up for soccer week, day-long art activity or just dip in for an hour in the pool. Somewhere in our programmes there is bound to be something for all the family.”

Look out on the Trust’s website (www.edlc.co.uk) for the Easter Holiday Activity Programme for sports options and the most recent What’s On guide for cultural choices.

Booking can be made using the online service, Horizon, accessible from the Trust website. If you have any questions about booking sports activities please ring 0141 578 8437 and for cultural enquiries please call 0141 777 3143.
