How good is Auchinairn?

East Dunbartonshire Community Planning Partnership is calling on residents of Auchinairn to help shape services in their area by sharing their views and experiences. 

The ‘How Good is Our Place Survey?’ is being carried out at workshops in Auchinairn giving local people the opportunity to have their say on a variety of issues affecting their neighbourhood and offering them the chance to become involved in future service delivery. 

The aim is to find out in detail what people like about living in Auchinairn and what they would like to see improve. Residents will be asked about a range of local facilities and amenities including cycle paths, public transport, the attractiveness of buildings, play and recreational spaces, housing and much, much more. The Community Planning Partnership Workshops are taking place on:

Tuesday 22 November at: 

  3pm - 4pm in Auchinairn Primary School
  7pm - 8pm in Auchinairn Primary School

Saturday 26 November at:

 11am - 12noon in Auchinairn Primary School
 1pm - 2pm in Auchinairn Primary School

Leader of East Dunbartonshire Council, Councillor Rhondda Geekie, said, “These workshops are a great opportunity for local residents to help us plan for the future by sharing their views on what they would like to see within their community.
