A warm welcome and first-class festive fare will be on the menu again at one of East Dunbartonshire's most stylish buildings this year.Kilmardinny House

Kilmardinny House in Bearsden will once more be hosting luxury lunches fit for Good King Wenceslas - the perfect treat to set you up for a cracker of a Christmas.

Book your place for lunch at the A-listed building for Thursday 12 December, Friday 13 December, Wednesday 18 December and/or Thursday 19 December 2019.

For just £19.95 per person, you can enjoy a glass of bubbly on arrival at 12.30pm - followed by a fabulous three-course lunch.

The mouth-wateringly merry menu includes options such as:

  • Chicken liver & Grand Marnier parfait, apple & fig chutney and toasted brioche
  • Lentil soup, with a warm artisan roll & butter
  • Roast turkey roulade with sage & onion stuffing, ‘pigs in blankets’, cranberry sauce and gravy
  • Wensleydale & creamy leek tart, wrapped in filo pastry.

All main meals will be served with roast potatoes, Brussels sprouts and carrots.

There will also be a choice of desserts - Christmas pudding with brandy sauce or a winter fruit pavlova, with raspberry compote.dining area inside Kilmardinny House

The lunches are being organised by East Dunbartonshire Leisure and Culture (EDLC) Trust and specialist caterers Elior.

Lunches will be served in the garden pavilion extension - which provides a modern, flexible space able to accommodate a range of activities, including performances, exhibitions, conferences and weddings.

The main house - located in Kilmardinny Avenue, Bearsden - offers a range of rooms and studios for use by local arts and community groups, as well as individuals, companies and organisations.
