As always, this year promises an interesting selection of unique and unusual gifts, including a wide range of craft work from both local and national craft makers, with a range of handmade jewellery, ceramics, soaps, candles, woodwork and textiles.

This year’s guest artist is Pamela Grace. Pamela lives and works in Galloway. In her work she captures the subtlety and complexity of scenes which are full of detail and depth of field.

Sandy Marshall, Chair of EDLC Trust, said, "The exhibition is a great way to start off your Christmas shopping by coming along and purchasing some truly unique gifts in the lovely atmosphere of the Auld Kirk Museum.

"We will be joined by some very special guests for the opening ceremony including live music from Willow Moon and Santa Claus with assistance from one of the elves will be giving out prizes to our Children’s Competition winners. Fairy Glen Teas will be providing hot chocolate and pastries, which will go down a treat."

Councillor Billy Hendry, Convener of the Place, Neighbourhood & Corporate Assets Committee, added, "This is an annual event that I always enjoy as it’s a really great opportunity to find unusual gifts

"I would encourage people to come along and enjoy a festive celebration of local art and craftwork."
