If you need help within office hours, you can contact us on the number above. Out-with these times and in a non-emergency, please contact NHS 24 on 111.
If you have a life threatening emergency, then call 999.
Drugs and alcohol support
Advice, support and treatment for drugs and alcohol issues are provided by the East Dunbartonshire Alcohol and Drugs Service (EDADS), which offers person-centred and recovery-focused treatment.
Accessing the service
You can self-refer by calling the contact number above, or ask your GP to refer you. You can also call in to the Kirkintilloch Health and Care Centre during the afternoon, Monday to Friday.
Drugs and alcohol assessment
You will be given an appointment at which a professional will assess your needs. If appropriate, a support plan will then by agreed with you.
East Dunbartonshire Alcohol and Drugs Partnership
The East Dunbartonshire Alcohol and Drugs Partnership (ADP) is a multi-agency group tasked by the Scottish Government to deal with alcohol and drug issues through partnership working. Membership includes East Dunbartonshire Council, NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde (NHSGGC), Police Scotland and the Scottish Fire and Rescue Service.
East Dunbartonshire Recovery Life Café
The Recovery Café runs on the first Saturday of every month in the Kirkintilloch Baptist Church. It gives people in recovery and their families the chance to share a meal and enjoy entertainment in a safe, alcohol and substance free environment.
