Autism Strategy Consultation

This consultation is now closed as of 31 January 2020.

We are now at the halfway stage of East Dunbartonshire's 10 year Autism strategy and wish to provide some detail on what has been achieved over the past five years and to also seek comments and suggestions on the main areas of focus for the remaining five years of the strategy.  

The initial launch in 2014 set 19 objectives and the documents attached indicate these objectives; progress made against the initial objectives; and some suggestions where the main focus of the strategy might concentrate on, especially over the next year.

We would welcome comments on these documents and would also want to ensure that we are not missing anything from our objectives which would be viewed as being of importance to individuals, or families/carers, who may be affected by autism.

Comments will be accepted until the end of January 2020 when the consultation will close. Feedback from the consultation will be provided in February 2020.
