Employee News 2024, Issue 6 - Drop in to the HSCP’s first ever Meet the Services Day – Wed 24 April 2024.

If you live or work in East Dunbartonshire then this event next week could be of interest to you, your family, friends or service users.

A range of health and social care services are being brought together under one roof at this all-day advice and information event. And there’ll even be a cuppa on hand if you fancy a chat with any of them.

The first ever Meet the Services Day has been organised by the Alcohol and Drug Partnership and the ACEs and Trauma Collaborative, a joint partnership between the East Dunbartonshire Health & Social Care Partnership (HSCP) and the Council.

The details you need:

Date:              Wednesday 24 April 2024
Time:             12noon – 7pm
Venue:           Kirkintilloch Town Hall, Union Street, Kirkintilloch, G66 1DH.

A full list of those participating can be found in our news release but it includes ED Association for Mental Health, Housing Services, various HSCP services, Women’s Aid, and Mind the Men as well as Police and Fire Service colleagues.

The aim is for people to drop in and chat with services who can help with anything from support and signposting for substance use, mental health advice, domestic abuse, support for people with autism and their families and housing queries to volunteering opportunities, fitness information and tips on consumer safety.

Please go along to support colleagues who have organised this event if you think it could be useful to you.

Thanks
