Following our announcement last week that Ann Davie, our current Depute Chief Executive, has been appointed as the Council’s next Chief Executive Officer, I am now in a position to confirm the transition arrangements.
Ann will assume permanent Chief Executive and Head of Paid Service accountabilities from Monday 18 December. I will continue to support the transition process until my official retirement in January.
Once again, I’m sure you will all join me in congratulating Ann on her appointment and wish her well as she steers the Council forward in her new role as Chief Executive.
