Winter mitigation opportunity - Care at Home Services

Our HSCP Care at Home Service is an essential part of our community, supporting some of our most vulnerable people to maintain independence and remain in their own homes.

As many of you will be aware, social care and health services continue to face huge challenges, with additional pressure on community based services to ensure we can provide safe and effective support to our communities.

To increase the resilience of our care at home services we are looking to establish a bank of staff to provide additional support where required across a range of shifts and localities across the area.  We are looking for HSCP and Council employees who may be interested in working alongside our current experienced home care staff to provide this vital support to people in their homes.  

We will provide training to anyone who may be interested in supporting the service.  This may be an opportunity for anyone interested in possibly pursuing a career in social care and gaining some experience - or possibly for those who would just wish to help out and may appreciate some additional income from the shifts they undertake.
