Recruitment & Selection Process Overview

Consistent with our internal recruitment processes for management and team leadership roles, an overview of the recruitment and selection process for each of these roles is as detailed below:

Application process

Prospective candidates will be required to submit the following:

  • A relevant CV (not EDC application form)
  • A Statement in support of application demonstrating suitability for role they are applying for
  • A written submission to a set question

Closing Date: 5pm on Monday 20 December 2021

Short-listing Process

Short-listing process will be conducted by the relevant Executive Officer/Service Manager

Candidate submissions will be assessed against:

  • The role profile
  • A competency assessment of the supporting statement
  • Defined criteria to assess the set question response

Interview process

 

Competency-based interview conducted by the relevant Executive Officer/Service Manager.

The interview will incorporate a presentation from the candidate on a pre-set topic.

Selection Process

Selection decisions will be made based on the assessment of:

  • CV
  • Supporting statement demonstrating suitability for role
  • Written response to set question
  • Quality of presentation
  • Performance through interview process
