Employee News 2021, Issue 31 - COVID-19: Coronavirus Vaccinations

This employee news provides the latest Scottish Government information on the opportunities available for 18+ adults to get a coronavirus (COVID-19) vaccination.

Anyone aged 18+ who has not been vaccinated can now register for their first coronavirus vaccination through the online self-registration portal. This is a convenient and immediate way to register for the vaccine and receive your vaccination appointment details. You will receive alerts and information digitally rather than through the post. It will also help to keep your contact details up to date and make sure you aren’t missed. This will enable anyone who does not have an up-to-date registered home address or those who were unable to attend previous appointments, to secure an appointment for vaccination.  Alternatively, you can call the national helpline on 0800 030 8013 where you can complete the registration process and arrange for information to be sent to you via SMS.

If you need to rearrange your appointment for a first or second dose of the vaccine, you can do so here Rearrange or opt-out of your vaccination appointment | The coronavirus (COVID-19) vaccine (nhsinform.scot). This may be helpful if, you wish to bring your appointment forward to get vaccinated as early as possible (although you will have to wait a minimum of 8 weeks between first and second dose).

There are also drop-in vaccination clinics being held for adults aged 18+ and details of your local drop-in clinics can be found by visiting this webpage: Registering for a coronavirus vaccine | The coronavirus (COVID-19) vaccine (nhsinform.scot)
