Employee News 2020, Issue 76 - COVID-19: Changes to local measures for East Dunbartonshire - Reminder

Level 4 measuresAs you will know from Employee News 75, East Dunbartonshire Council area will move from Level 3 to Level 4 restrictions at 6pm today (Friday) for three weeks.

Full details of what this means are on the Scottish Government website.

Please note that travel restrictions will be put into law on 20 November to further enforce the current guidance that restricts people who live in a Level 3 or Level 4 local authority area from travelling outside their local authority except for an essential purpose - such as work or caring responsibilities.

The regulations also prevent non-essential travel into a Level 3 or 4 local authority area, except for the same reasons.

Schools will remain open but children on the Shielding list should not attend in person.

We have been issuing social media messaging on the Council's facebook and Twitter pages to share the Scottish Government announcements and information on the new measures.

Attached is a jpeg which contains a useful summary of the restrictions and measures that will be in place in East Dunbartonshire during Level 4 restrictions.

Please ensure that you are aware of and follow the new restrictions in place for our Council area.

Thank you
