Employee News 2020, Issue 62 - COVID-19: Review of local measures for East Dunbartonshire

Following the review by Scottish Government yesterday, Monday 14 September, the local restrictions for East Dunbartonshire Council area remain in place.  This is part of the wider West of Scotland local outbreak, which also applies to Glasgow City Council, West Dunbartonshire Council, Renfrewshire Council, East Renfrewshire Council, North and South Lanarkshire Councils.

For East Dunbartonshire, the restrictions were initially introduced for a two-week period from 7 September, and the next review will be on Monday 21 September.  A further update will be provided after that review.

Full details of the restrictions that apply, which we would encourage you all to be aware of and to follow, are on the Scottish Government Website or directly via this localised restrictions webpage.

The Council is issuing social media messaging to share the Scottish Government announcements and information on the extended measures.

Our Local Outbreak web page also includes information on the Protect Scotland app that has been launched as part of Track & Trace and which we advised you of in Employee News 60 on Friday 11 September.  If you have not yet downloaded this, we would encourage you to do so as an important measure in managing the spread of Covid-19.

Thank you
