Education Hub Delivery Manager – Various Locations as Required

Temporary Arrangements (June – August 2020)

Indicative Salary:  Grade 8 (£32,994 - £38,195)

The Council is providing childcare for children of key workers and for children who are vulnerable in Education Hubs during the school summer holidays as required due to the Covid-19 pandemic.

The Education Hubs are based in seven primary schools across East Dunbartonshire and provide places for children from primary schools and a small number of children from secondary schools.

The activities in the Hubs will be provided by staff from East Dunbartonshire Leisure and Culture Trust (EDLC Trust).  There is a requirement for a management team within the Hubs to work on a rota basis over the summer holiday period 24 June to 10 August.    It is anticipated that there would be a number of managers within the Hub or Locality, who could be deployed on a rota basis, dependent on their availability over the summer period.

The role profile details the key aspects of the role and the essential criteria.  The main role is to ensure the health and safety and efficient operation within the Hub. Full training and support will be provided particularly related to the Health and Safety risk assessment.  Within the Education Service there would be a Locality Coordinator for each area, who would provide direct advice and support as well as ensuring effective communication with other officers within the Council and EDLC Trust.

Staff from within Education or other services may apply and term time employees will receive additional payment at the hourly rate for hours worked.
