Provost Alan Brown joined Elizabeth Cowie at Kincaid Hotel in Milton of Campsie yesterday, to celebrate Elizabeth’s 100th birthday. The longest serving member of Westermains Bowling Club, Mrs Cowie was joined by family and friends. Provost Brown said, “It was a great privilege to meet Mrs Cowie and to wish her a very happy birthday on behalf of the people of East Dunbartonshire.”
