This consultation is now closed as of 9 November 2015.
The Council, in conjunction with the East Dunbartonshire Culture and Leisure Trust, has published a draft Culture, Leisure and Sport Strategy, which aims to ensure that culture, leisure and sport in East Dunbartonshire is the very best that it can be, by providing a framework and direction for partnership working.
When it is finalised, the Culture, Leisure and Sport Strategy 2015 will guide the future provision of services, assets and activities in East Dunbartonshire.
The Council is currently holding a public consultation on the draft Strategy. This consultation period is running from 28 September to 9 November.
You can provide feedback on the draft strategy by completing the survey online, by email or returning a hard copy survey (which can be collected at Council libraries).
In addition, two informal drop-in events are being held - giving people the chance to view the strategy and speak to Council officers:
- Allander Leisure Centre, Bearsden from 3-8pm, Tuesday 13 October
- William Patrick Library, Kirkintilloch from 3-8pm, Thursday 22 October
The Strategy and supporting documents are available on this page, as well as at libraries and at Southbank House, Strathkelvin Place, Kirkintilloch.
