The Council has published a draft Active Travel Strategy 2015 - 2020, aimed at increasing participation in walking and cycling for everyday journeys in East Dunbartonshire.  This draft strategy is available to download via the link below and hard copies are available to view in all council libraries. The Council is currently holding a public consultation on the draft Strategy. This consultation period is running from 26 August to 7 October 2015.  By completing the survey available via the link below, you can provide feedback on the draft Active Travel Strategy which will be taken into consideration before the final Strategy is adopted. Paper copies are available at the libraries and on request by calling Customer Services and asking for the Land Planning Policy Team.

We welcome comments and suggestions on the draft strategy and are grateful for contribution from the public in developing the final strategy before it is adopted.

Please note - the Council is currently progressing a number of committed projects, such as the Bears Way - Phase 2 and 3, which will be subject to their own project specific, design consultations.
