A special Citizenship Event was held at Kilmardinny House on 23 March 2022 to welcome nine new citizens to East Dunbartonshire. Provost Gary Pews presented the new Citizens with a Certificate form East Dunbartonshire Council and Lord Lieutenant Mrs Jill Young MBE presented our new citizens with their Certificate of Naturalisation.
Citizens who attended their ceremony during the pandemic were also welcomed by Provost Gary Pews and Lord Lieutenant Mrs Jill Young MBE, who were unable to join them at the time, due to restrictions.
