Chief Executive Update, Issue 02

Dear All

It feels like it’s been a long time coming but finally Spring is here – how lovely it is to have lighter mornings and evenings! We’re also only a week away from the Easter weekend and school holidays. I hope whatever your plans are, you have a fantastic time and manage to get some well-deserved relaxation!

As you know, our focus over the last few months has been setting the Council budget. Our Housing Revenue and Capital Budget and Council Tax was approved at Council on 22 February. Meanwhile, our Revenue Budget and Capital Programme is due at Council on Tuesday, 26 March. You can read the papers for next Tuesday here.

I mentioned in my last update that we’re looking for your input into my regular updates to you.

The Communications & Engagement team have created a survey so you can let us know what you would like included going forward.

The survey is short and will only take a few minutes, so please do get involved by filling it in, we would like as many of you as possible to have your say.

You can complete the survey here.

Now for a few updates….

New EDLC website

The new EDLC website is due to launch on Tuesday 26 March so why not check it out once it’s live! Designed to ensure easier user navigation and to better promote the activities and events EDLC provide, it also has a modern and clean format with eye catching images and prominent call to actions.

Finally, I’d like to thank you all for your ongoing hard work and hope everyone has a lovely Easter.

Thanks,

Ann
