The Provost was onboard the 'Voyager' canal boat on Sunday, 26 May 2019, representing the Council at the Canal Carnival held to mark the reopening of the Forth and Clyde Canal. A flotilla of around 70 boats left Falkirk on Saturday before arriving at Kirkintilloch Marina on Sunday morning. It was a fantastic event, despite the weather, with plenty of music and crowds to cheer on the vessels.
