British Sign Language Plan Consultation

Thank you to everyone who took the time to fill in the survey. We are now collating and analysing your responses.

East Dunbartonshire Council is carrying out a consultation on the draft British Sign Language plan, 2024-30.

The Council has produced a second draft British Sign Language Plan which details how we aim to achieve our ambition to make East Dunbartonshire a great place for BSL and Deaf Blind people to live, work and visit.

We want to ensure that our plan for BSL reflects the needs and aspirations of our residents. We are looking for the views of as many people as possible to make sure that we are on the right track when it comes to looking after our deaf and deafblind communities and others who use BSL.

The consultation runs from Monday 18 March until Sunday 28 April.
