Pupils, families, teachers, school staff and Baldernock residents celebrated and looked back at school life over the generations. They were entertained by a presentation from pupils who had been researching the school’s history, followed by a lively all school percussion performance for everyone to enjoy.

Depute Provost McDiarmid, said, “I had a lovely evening celebrating 150 years of Baldernock Primary School with the Baldernock community and pupils and teachers past and present. The sun was shining for us as we learned about the school’s long and fascinating history in the beautiful gardens. There was plenty of talent on display too – the children’s percussion performance was fantastic and the birthday cake – a replica of Baldernock Primary School building – was so intricate and detailed. It was a shame to eat it!”
