Have your say on the design of Milngavie play area
Section
The Council is looking for your help to decide on the winning design of a new play area in Milngavie.
All play areas across East Dunbartonshire are currently closed due to restrictions put in place across the country to help deal with the Coronavirus pandemic. However, the Council is planning to upgrade its play area at Lennox Park in the town when restrictions are lifted and residents are being offered the chance to vote for their favourite design from five options.
To ensure we're offering the highest standard of quality and choice to the community, we are presenting a variety of design options to residents which you can view in the table below.
Each of the choices are an improvement on the current playground and are designed to provide exciting and challenging play equipment for children of all ages.
Design proposals were invited - and submitted - on a fixed budget basis.
We want as many people as possible to have their say on what they'd like to see in the play area by taking part. The voting is on a one vote per household basis and the design that has collected the most votes at the expiry of the deadline date will be the one that's installed. Please note, only votes from East Dunbartonshire residents will be counted.
The Council would like to request that all voters take the necessary time to examine each option before making their final decision based on the equipment and the long-term play value of the equipment rather than basing your decision on who has provided the most attractive design. We would particularly encourage you to have a look at each layout plan as it gives a more accurate portrayal of what each company is providing/not providing.
Please note, you only have until 27 May 2020 to make your choice - votes made after this deadline will not be counted.
