Welcome to the East Dunbartonshire Council 24 hour secure Internet payments service *. To give you more of a choice when paying for some of your Council services, you can now pay online using your Visa, Mastercard, Maestro or Delta cards. Please note that credit card payments will be surcharged at 1.9%; there is no surcharge for payment by debit card.

What can I pay?

You can pay:
  • Council Tax
  • House and Garage Rents
  • School Meals
  • Parking Fines 
  • Business Rates
  • Invoice Payments and miscellaneous payments for specific items such as Planning Fees, Building Standards Fees and a number of Environmental Services.

Additional services will be added as we continue to develop this facility.

Security Information

Your transaction is now taking place within a secure payment system. We use Secure Socket Layer (SSL) technology, a standard supported by most major Internet browsers. All of your personal and card details are protected using 128 bit encryption, when transmitted over the Internet. Your card details are stored on a server behind a secure firewall. Only authorised personnel may access this information.

If you experience any difficulty making a payment online, please send an email to revenues.performance@eastdunbarton.gov.uk, giving us your name, reference number, daytime telephone number and a short description of the problem.

Are you making your regular payment of Council Tax, Rent or Business Rates? Have you considered paying by Direct Debit?

By completing a Direct Debit Instruction, payments can be collected from your bank account when they are due - you don't have to remember to make your payment each time.
